Micro Satellites

Micro satellites are a cost-effective means for the conduction of university space-related experiments and a powerful tool for student education. We work on satellite concepts and micro satellite hardware aiming at the realization of a univeristy satellite program at the university of Bremen. more...

Mission simulations

During its lifetime in space the attitude and the orbit of a satellite are influenced by different perturbances resulting from the space environment. On the one hand these boundary conditions have an impact on the design of the satellite, for instance the thermal shielding or the propulsion system. On the other hand, these disturbances affect any data which are exchanged between a satellite and its ground station. For missions that rely on high-precision measurements it is crucial to develop appropriate models for the environmental perturbations in order to derive the correct science signal more...

Satellite System Models

System modelling is an important task for the evaluation of measurement and experiment performance as well as budget control on system level. Space environmental effects and internal effects such as heat dissipation or magnetic fields induced by electric currents posses a considerable influence on payloads and experiments more...
