Rocket Engine Test-Stand

ZARM Space Propulsion an Energy Systems group has an advanced test stand for hybrid rocket engines. It is currently capable of supporting engines using gaseous oxygen at an injector pressure of up to 6MPa and mass flow rates of 0,17kg/s.

The test stand is currently being updated to also support LOX at the same pressures but flow rates up to 1kg/s.

The test stand is equipped with high speed data acquisition systems to monitor feed line and engine parameters.
