My efforts focus around the study of possible departures from local Lorentz invariance at distances of the order of the Planck length. In particular, I am aiming to understand the meaning of relativity in this regime, without restricting to the Poincaré group. This also includes considering alternative geometries and symmetry deformations, perhaps induced by quantum mechanical effects.
