Research Interest:

My main research interest focuses on the application of geometry in physics, in particular non-metric geometry based on general (non-linear) connections on fibre bundles.

During my PhD thesis I developed the Finsler spacetime framework. A mathematical rigorous Finsler geometry framework which extends Lorentzian metric geometry and provides a clear notion of causality, observers and their measurements and gravitational dynamics.

Current research includes:

  • A precise geometric formulation of spacetime geometry with curved momentum space and application in quantum gravity phenomenology.
  • (Algebraic) quantization of general linear electrodynamics.
  • Studying observable effects from Finslerian modifications and extensions of general relativity, in particular in cosmological scenarios.
  • Geometric formulation of Thermodynamics.
