The eighth ITT Workshop on "TWO-PHASE SYSTEMS FOR GROUND AND SPACE APPLICATIONS" will be hosted by Center of Applied Space Technology and Microgravity (ZARM, Zentrum für angewandte Raumfahrttechnologie und Mikrogravitation) and will be held in Bremen, September 16-19, 2013.
The upcoming workshop will continue the tradition of the first seven meetings and will be followed by the International Topical Team meeting on "Two-phase Heat Transfer" on September 20, 2013.
The conference will be organized as a series of selected key-note talks, oral and poster presentations, covering the topics (but not excluding others):
- Experiments in Microgravity
- Boiling, Evaporation and Condensation
- Films, Layers and Interfaces
- Physics of Contact Line and Wetting
- Microchannels and Minichannels
- Thermocapillary flows
- Spray, Jets and Two-Phase Flows
- Bubbles, Drops and Foams

Two topical issues will be published on the occasion of this workshop. The topical issue on TWO-PHASE SYSTEMS FOR SPACE APPLICATIONS will be published in the journal Microgravity Science and Technology. The topical issue on TWO-PHASE SYSTEMS FOR GROUND APPLICATIONS will be published in the journal Interfacial Phenomena and Heat Transfer. All manuscripts will undergo a full peer review and authors will be notified well before the workshop about the publication procedure and schedule. The topical issues will be published after the workshop.
